Personality:
cynical || particular || critical || unforgiving
Fitcher is tricky, manipulative, too smart for his own good and always getting into trouble. He's headstrong to such a point that it sometimes breaks his dads' hearts, but Fitcher always thinks of consequences second. He deflects hurt by being funny and has low self-confidence that sometimes gets in his way. He likes to pretend that what other horses say doesn't bother him but of course it does. He's not as far removed from the gossip as he likes to think he is. (And considering who his mate is, there is plenty of gossip. The older horses say that those raised as brothers should not become anything else. Fitcher wants to scream at them that they don't know what they're talking about.)
He never believes in the good of people, never assumes that the best outcome of any given situation will come to be. He doesn't believe in miracles, finds no beauty in nature and stars. He's very specific about what he likes in his life and he is uncompromising when it comes to these things. The sole figure that can change his mind is big stupid Galahad. Fitcher has said a thousand times that Galahad doesn't tell him to be nothing but in reality, when Galahad asks him to jump Fitcher's first instinct is to ask how high. In retrospect, he doesn't find it all that bad, but he refuses to admit to strangers that he likes it.
