Theme Song: Good Morning Mr. Wolf by Patrick Watson
Personality:
somber || quiet || thoughtful || resolute
Zaurak is solemn and emotionally reserved. He doesn't have outbursts and neither does he ever raise his voice; he saves his energy for more important things than arguments. It's nearly impossible to rouse his temper and more often than not if he's upset he simply excuses himself from the situation to settle down. He's laid-back but strict and formal; he's not likely to run unless necessary but he expects others to always be on their best behavior about him. He's very professional about things getting done around the stables in a very specific way.
Zaurak once had a young rider that he loved, Eddie. Since he's been sold to the stables he hasn't come close to forming that same relationship with another; most of the stablehands are nervous around him, unsure of their footing. Zaurak isn't cruel but he is neither very pleasant; he never seems to enjoy anything, and it's difficult to make him laugh or smile. Fox is the sole exception to that, as she works very hard at making people happy, but Zaurak doesn't much mind her anymore. To other horses, however, Zaurak comes off as superior and bored, and that is how he likes it. He would rather ruminate on his memories of Eddie than deal with another attempting to become his friend.
