Kiskadee's closest companion is her bird Aero, and as such she does not find so much joy in keeping the other horses company. She comes off arrogant to most, uninterested to the rest, and it's less that and more that Kiskadee finds little joy in the companionship of horses. She likes seeing Aero fly and she loves imagining flying alongside him and that is her priority over kissing boo-boos better and trying to make friends. Aero is with her nearly 24/7 and when he is sleeping on her shoulder or tucked into her mane she is content to watch the wild birds fly and flock and talk to one another. Aero is as divorced from birds and Kisakdee is from horses; he makes a singular exception for the sun conure Romulus, who lives tucked alongside a stallion at the Stables named Remus. Kisakdee and Remus spend some afternoons together solely because their birds enjoy it; they don't talk all that much, and most often it's just them standing in a shady glen watching their birds.
She's somewhat odd when it comes to how she speaks to others but she is wondrously clever and quick; she can come up with new ideas without much exercise at all. This is what initially attracted her to Aisling, who is also very imaginative and always conjuring up new things. Aisling is also a lover of animals, and so she too enjoys watching Aero, though not to the extreme of Kisakdee. Aisling encourages Kisakdee to be more social and make friends, and often drags her along when she goes to visit Mac, the stallion she came from Ireland with. She's also coerced Kisakdee in accompanying her when she visits Salem, Romulus' mate; although Kisakdee doesn't speak much during these afternoons she is good companionship with her absent smiles and the soft twittering of her bird.
